Background LEAD,

The establishment of a Centre For Sustainable Academic Leadership Development (LEAD) further strengthens the main function of the existing

sustainable development unit (UPL) . Since the establishment of UPL, in November 2007, this unit generally has two main functional parts;

the teaching and learning section as well as the lecture section. the establishment of this LEAD, renews and further develops the previous

UPL function, which is the addition of the main function; e-learning section.

Therefore the purpose of the establishment of LEAD is to further increase the level of the professionalism of academic staff at UniMAP

as a whole in terms of teaching and learning, sustainable training (lecture series) and the context of e-learning which is seen as the

main medium of teaching and learning interaction in this era of globalization.
